School start 2017/18 - Visiting Lille's Opera

A visite with all exchange and foreing students, from 13 differents countries, in the Lille's Opera and some others historic biuldings was organized in the beginning of the academic year 2016/17. They had the opportunity to get know some design, history and colors from the city!

Conference tour through the center of the city to discover its architecture and urbanism by Pierre Semal, teacher at ENSAPL.

Future village - 2016 anlong - International landscape workshop in China

An invitation by Jianguo Han, landscaper, to 10 architecture, landscape and urbanism school, at ANLONG, in the province of GUIZHOU, China, in July 2016. The subject was to propose an evolution to the landscape of 5 rural villages that are becoming depopulated, in 8 days!
The students had the chance to meet new people, differents cultures, working method and landscapes!

 The students from ENSAP Lille are: Lea BADEL, Clara BOMPART, Louise CHARGE, Julien DESAGRE, Cyril GUIMARD, Alienor LAYET and Maud NUNEZ. With the teacher Amelle VARCIN.

3D Printer and Laser Cutter

Since 2016 the school hosts 3D printers and a laser cutter that offer students a new way to study objects and volumes. A students organization deals with both machines to guide all the students who want to use this technology in your project.

Outside activities

During the school year is organized few activities outside the school, either studies trip around Europe, either sites, biuldings and landscape visites. Beeing in the exterior with teachers show the students an different way to see and understand the city, constructions or landscapes. Also possibles projects could be realized outside, as project in the city of Lille by students from Materiality Master, in 2015.

 

 

 

 

 

Scale 1 studio

The ENSAPL offers to the students the opportunity to work in the scale 1, in a special studio with construction tools and security equipement. This practice allowes students to experience their project in an human scale, and to learn how to deal with this tools since the first year in the school.

  

 

 

Final Presentations

In the end of each semester there is a final presentation of the project realized during the semester. The oral presentation is present as much as models and grafical documents.
